The method

Laptime is the last number on the sheet. We work on everything above it.

  1. Sector 1

    Assess

Before we train anything, we measure. The knowledge and physical assessments, plus a simulator session, give a baseline across everything that decides a lap. It also gives us something to compare against later, so progress is measured rather than felt.

  2. Sector 2

    Develop

Your development plan sets out what to work on, in what order, and why. Technical classes build understanding, the simulator turns it into repeatable technique, and physical training makes sure your body can keep up.

  3. Sector 3

    Apply

Off-track work only counts if it shows up on track. Before every event you get a plan per session, with references and targets, and a briefing routine to use with your engineer.

  4. Timing line

    Review

After the event we compare what happened with what was planned. The data goes into your driver profile, the plan is adjusted, and the next loop starts. Each lap of the method starts from a better place.

What you receive

  • Driver profile

Your scores on knowledge, driving and physical condition, updated after every loop.

  • Development plan

Priorities, sessions and targets for the coming period, in writing.

  • Session reports

A short report after every class, simulator session and assessment.

  • Event books

Plans, references and targets for each event on your calendar.

How we work

  • Measure before training

No programme starts without a baseline. If we cannot measure it, we do not claim to improve it.

  • Explain the why

A driver who understands the reason behind a technique can adapt it when conditions change.

  • Simulator time with a purpose

Every session has a goal written down before you sit in the seat.

  • One plan, shared

With your permission, your team, engineer and coach work from the same plan.
